UIMC Started Developing Equipment Based on Russian Processor and Protected from Cyberespionage

The corporation started developing computing equipment based of a new Russian 8-core microprocessor Elbrus-8C. The hardware will replace foreign models that do not guarantee lack of spyware or protection against information leaks.

In 2015, United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation implemented over 2 thousand projects for the Ministry of Defense and other defense and security agencies of Russia; thus, it managed to fulfill state defense order (SDO) by 100%. Sergei Chemezov Presented Powerful Wearable Computer Made by UIMC to Vladimir Putin

At a business meeting, Director General of State Corporation Rostec Sergei Chemezov presented unconventional brand new products of the Russian industry to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. One of them was a device developed by United Instrument Manufacturing Corporation, a wearable palm size computer Raydget, which weighted only about 200 grams.
